PCC Tip: Wet the paper filter before making coffee
Why should we wet the V60's paper filter before making our coffee?
It is important to wet the paper filter with hot water before making coffee in the V60 to:
1. Prevent coffee from reflecting a papery taste.
2. Heat the server or cup so that the coffee maintains its ideal temperature for longer.
Do not forget to discard the water from the cup or "server" before starting to filter your coffee.
